GravityZone Troubleshoot - Verbose Device Control Logs
To properly investigate the issue they require a set of Verbose Device Control Logs gathered while the issue is being reproduced (insert devices and remove them a few times) as well as the device names / IDs for the devices that are allowed in spite of policy settings. You can generate the logs by following the steps below.
- Access the affected endpoint.
- Open up a CMD window with Administrative Rights.
- Run the following command:- cd C:\Program Files\Bitdefender\Endpoint Security
- Run the following command:- product.console.exe /c Support.StartSession scenario=deviceControl
- Reproduce the issue (leave logging on for at least 15 minutes)
- Run the following command:- product.console.exe /c Support.EndSession outputPath=C:\Windows\temp (This will stop the logging process and dump the log in the provided path)
