Bitdefender GravityZone | Incidents > Import Blocklist Rules

Hello Team,

Thank you for your patience.

In response to your concern, we’ve created and attached two CSV files to assist with importing Application Hashes and Connection rules into the Bitdefender Blocklist:

  1. Reference File – This file is for your understanding only. It shows the correct format and structure, and should not be imported.

  2. Importable File – This file contains only the required values in the correct format and is ready to be imported.

We have already tested the importable file on our end to ensure it meets Bitdefender’s requirements. Please review it and ensure your actual values are accurate, properly formatted, and valid before importing.

Please keep the following points in mind:

  • Bitdefender Blocklist supports only SHA256 and MD5 hashes.

  • The IOC file you provided contains SHA1 hashes and URLs, which are not supported.

  • Ensure the following when preparing your file:

    • Only SHA256 or MD5 hashes are used.

    • All values are in lowercase and follow the correct column order.

    • No extra characters or spaces in any field.

    • MD5 hashes require the application path.

    • All mandatory fields must be completed.

For more information, you can refer to the official Bitdefender Knowledge Base article on importing Application and Connection rules into the Blocklist.

We hope this is clear and helps you achieve your requirement smoothly. Let us know if you have any queries on same.
